Connection: Born in Wales. Often played Welshmen in black and white era films.

Hi cracker. Cliff Evans (yes, it is his real surname!) belongs to my grandfather on my mothers side. I never had the chance of meeting him as he died in eighty five and I was too young to remember. I shall endeavour to unearth further info.

Mattjohn; I reckon your grandfather is related to my great, great gran. Mary Evans who m. John Harry of Llanelli and later Morriston. Guess she was born c. 1855. My elderly aunt always claimed Clifford was a relative.
