I'm sorry, but as a ukulele player, I am hurt. That wasn't a banjo she played, it was a banjo-ukulele, just like George Formby.

Met her when I was Ass. Producer on the Golden Shot for ATV Elstree, we had lunch at ATV Birmingham and did the show that Sunday live. About 1970 I think. I was getting the theme of the show on Monday and going live by Sunday. Tesse was a wonderful help, in everything you asked her. What a lady.
