Lyn Harding, actor with a connection to Wales (St. Brides, Monmouthshire)

Lyn Harding

His career spanned stage, silent screen, talking pictures and radio. He toured in the USA, Japan, India and Burma. His last stage performance was at the age of seventy-four! At the age of almost eighty he played famous Welsh rebel leader Owain Glydwr for BBC radio.

He changed his name to Lyn to make it more acceptable to English audiences who found it hard to pronounce "Llewellyn".
