She gets my vote for greatest Briton any day. 'Body of a weak and feeble woman with a heart of a lion' (or words to that effect). I can't remember who it was but one of her contemporaries is on record as referring to her as 'that Welsh harpy' (or words to that effect). It was through an extension of her fathers policies that the first settlements were founded in America. Not only Britain (especially England) is what it is today because of this woman but America too. - Ed
