Was made Sir Elwyn Jones and entered House of Lords in 1974 taking the title Lord Elwyn Jones of Llanelli and Newnham. He was born in Llanelli. The administrative in Llanelli is called Ty Elwyn in his honour.

My mother was the first cousin of Pearl Binder the wife of Lord Elwyn Jones. Any information you can furnish to me would be appreciated. Pearl Binder was a very well known author of children books.
