He helped a lot with raising the money to buy Snowdon by doing concerts. In all they had to raise ?3.5 million to stop Snowdon being turned into a Disneyland affair. Anthony Hopkins donated a million for this venture. Shortly before he became a citizen of the USA.

I have been a fan of Mike's music for twenty years now travelling thousands of miles all over the UK to see him perform.
