Gary Hocking, sportsman with a connection to Wales (Gwent)

Gary Hocking

He was a great motorcyclist winning many events. He won the '250cc TT' in 1960 and both the 350 and 500 Championships in 1961. He was second in the 1962 'Junior TT' and won the senior and then retired. He was killed the same year practising for a car race in South Africa.
